Who we are

RadConnect is an application published by Nowa Electric Lifestyle AB, a company registered in Sweden under organisation number 559480-4741, with its registered office at Rååvägen 51, 252 70 Råå, Sweden (VAT SE559480474101). In these Terms, “Nowa”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Nowa Electric Lifestyle AB, and “you” means the person using RadConnect or joining our waitlist.

These Terms of Service govern your use of the RadConnect app, the RadConnect website, and the related services we provide (together, the “Service”). By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The waitlist

Joining the RadConnect waitlist is free and places you under no obligation to buy a subscription. It reserves a 20% discount on your first year, applied automatically at checkout when the app launches. We will use your email address to send you the launch notice and closely related information, and nothing more. You can leave the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us, which removes your email from the list.

The Service and our independence

RadConnect is an independent application that communicates with Radinn battery hardware over Bluetooth to show battery health, monitor temperature, send maintenance reminders, and provide diagnostics-backed support. Nowa is not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to Radinn or the maker of the original Radinn app. All product names, trademarks and brands are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

RadConnect works only with battery hardware that you own or are otherwise authorised to service. The Service is provided for the personal monitoring and maintenance of that hardware.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. To use the app you sign in with your email address using a one-time code; you are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly at support@nowa.life if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Subscriptions, billing and taxes

RadConnect is offered as a single subscription plan at €15 per month, billed annually. Waitlist members receive 20% off the first year. Exact pricing, any applicable taxes, and the renewal date are shown to you before you complete your purchase.

Payments are processed by our payments partner, Polar, acting as the merchant of record. This means that Polar — not Nowa — sells the subscription to you, takes payment, issues the invoice or receipt, and handles VAT and other applicable taxes. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Polar’s terms and privacy notice presented at checkout. Nowa provides the RadConnect software and support.

Subscriptions renew automatically for a further year at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account page or the customer portal, or by contacting us; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the paid period. The 20% waitlist discount applies to the first billing year only.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because RadConnect is digital content and a service supplied online, you expressly request and consent to us starting to provide the Service immediately, and you acknowledge that once the Service has been fully performed you lose your right of withdrawal. Where the Service has only been partly performed during the withdrawal period, you may still withdraw but may owe an amount proportionate to what was provided.

To withdraw, contact us at support@nowa.life before the period ends. Refunds for eligible withdrawals are handled by Polar as merchant of record. Nothing in this section affects mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and only as intended. In particular, you agree not to:

• use RadConnect with hardware you do not own or are not authorised to service;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or the diagnostics it provides without our written permission;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems; or
• use the Service in any way that could damage battery hardware or endanger people or property.

Intellectual property

The RadConnect app, website, and all related content and software are owned by Nowa or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose while your subscription is active. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Safety and disclaimer of warranties

RadConnect provides battery information, monitoring and reminders as guidance to help you look after your equipment. It is not a safety device and does not replace the manufacturer’s instructions. You remain solely responsible for charging, storing, transporting and operating your batteries and equipment safely and in line with the manufacturer’s guidance and applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that diagnostics or reminders will be error-free or delivered without delay.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nowa will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where we discontinue the Service or terminate without cause, we will give you reasonable notice by email. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

The Service is under active development and we may add, change or remove features over time. We may also update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. If we make a material change, we will notify registered users by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Sweden have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

EU consumers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr to seek an out-of-court settlement.
